YITDA, NIMC Partner to Expand NIN Enrollment Across Yobe’s 178 Wards.

In line with the vision of His Excellency, Governor (Dr) Mai Mala Buni CON the Yobe State Information Technology Development Agency and the National Identity Management Commission have commenced plans to establish National Identification Number (NIN) enrollment centres in all 178 wards across Yobe State

The initiative is aimed at bringing NIN registration services closer to the people ensuring that every resident can easily obtain their National Identification Number which is increasingly required for access to government services educational examinations employment opportunities financial services and other critical activities

As part of the implementation process the newly deployed NIMC State Coordinator and the Director-General of YITDA paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) to provide an update on the proposal submitted to the state government and discuss strategies for the successful rollout of the project

This partnership reflects the Yobe State Government’s commitment to digital inclusion improved identity management and ensuring that no citizen is left behind in the ongoing digital transformation agenda.
